A manhole cover is a component used to cover access holes in drainage channels. Manhole covers are typically made of cast iron. However, an alternative material to cast iron is now available: FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). FRP manhole covers offer several advantages that are comparable to cast iron manhole covers.
