Juanda International Airport
Juanda International Airport, located in Surabaya, East Java, is one of Indonesia’s major aviation hubs serving millions of passengers annually. To support increasing air traffic and enhance safety standards, the airport underwent a comprehensive reconstruction and drainage improvement project in its airside area — a critical zone that includes runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking stands.
Airside infrastructure must be equipped with durable drainage components capable of withstanding not only heavy rainfall but also the immense loads from aircraft and ground vehicles. A failure in drainage performance could disrupt airport operations, cause surface flooding, or compromise safety. Therefore, the project required products that combine structural strength, precision, and longevity.

In this project, Infiniferro supplied a complete set of ductile iron gratings and manhole covers, specifically designed to handle extreme load conditions. The supplied products included:
